About the flag
Designed in 1971 by a young Emirati, Abdullah Mohammed Al Maainah, it uses the four Pan-Arab colours: red, green, white and black.
How to spot it: A vertical red bar at the hoist with green, white and black horizontal stripes; Kuwaitβs hoist piece is a black trapezoid.
