About the flag
The Sun of May in the centre has a face and recalls the May Revolution of 1810. The sky blue and white design goes back to independence leader Manuel Belgrano.
How to spot it: Three equal horizontal bands, sky blue, white, sky blue, with a golden sun in the middle; Uruguay puts its sun in a corner above nine stripes.
