About the flag
The black double-headed eagle recalls the banner of Skanderbeg, the 15th-century hero who led Albanian resistance against the Ottomans. Albanians call their country Shqipëria, popularly linked to eagles.
How to spot it: A plain red field with a single black double-headed eagle in the centre, no border and no other markings.
