About the flag
Adopted in 1985 and designed by Greenlander Thue Christiansen, it is the only Nordic flag without a cross. The circle is often read as the sun over the ice and sea.
How to spot it: White on top, red below, with a circle set toward the pole side that swaps colours: red on the white half and white on the red half.
