About the flag
The red disc represents the sun rising over Bengal and the blood shed in the 1971 Liberation War. An early version had a golden map of the country inside the disc, dropped in 1972.
How to spot it: Dark green with a red circle set slightly toward the flagpole side; Japanโs disc sits on white.
