About the flag
The green words Allahu Akbar were added in 1991. In 2004 the script was redrawn in Kufic style, replacing what was said to be Saddam Husseinโs handwriting, and in 2008 three green stars were removed.
How to spot it: Red-white-black stripes with green Arabic script in the middle; Egypt has a gold eagle and Yemen has no emblem.
